I use red earthenware clay—a material steeped in folk tradition. The surfaces of my pots are layered with slip and colorful glazes, giving them a painterly quality. My forms are designed for the table but also act as a canvas. I want my pots to live as decorative objects in the home and slide seamlessly into daily use.
